My name is Claudia Malecka – my surname is pronounced [maˈlɛtska].
I’m a film & creative director, artist, and photographer based in Berlin, working at the intersection of fashion, music, and culture through audiovisual storytelling. With Polish–Italian roots and a background in design, film, music, and fine arts — including a Master’s in Visual Communication from the University of the Arts Berlin – I move fluidly between single-image shoots, full visual campaigns, and independent artistic projects. I direct, shoot, and edit audiovisual narratives that often explore emotion and identity – shaping the creative direction from concept to final image. While I often stay hands-on, I thrive on the energy of collaboration and strong teams. My work has been shown internationally, including at the Poster Museum in Warsaw, and has been recognized with several awards — among them the Emerging Talent Award at the B3 Biennial of the Moving Image.
